At Choice Point Leadership, Janet helps social venture leaders increase their positive impact. Even leaders who have created whole new fields of endeavor, sometimes find in their day-to-day lives that they fall short of their own highest values.
My belief is that coaching is one of the key levers to create positive change. Other levers include finance, energy, education, housing, and food. That is why I focus my coaching practice on social ventures that are active in these areas, to leverage the leverage.
Too often I find remarkable people who are dedicating their careers to social justice but creating too much drama by HOW they are leading. Human beings can get stuck or hijacked by patterns of behavior that no longer serve them.
Working on your own mindset, energetic story and choices first, and then giving the same coaching and training to your team, so that everybody is speaking the same language, creates a vibrant, intentional and positively impactful culture that is magnetically attractive to potential funders and employees.
